Talc Base Filler
Masterbatch.
A transparent, talc‑based filler system engineered to replace virgin polymer without compromising clarity, strength, or line speed.
What is Bajaj Plast
Talc Base Filler?
Bajaj Plast Talc Base Filler is a talc‑based transparent filler masterbatch — a precision‑engineered concentrate built from ultra‑fine particle size inorganic transparent powder, compounded with virgin polyethylene as the carrier resin and a tailored package of performance additives.
Every formulation is proportioned around the end application, so the same base chemistry can be tuned for injection moulding, blow moulding, woven sack extrusion, or blown film — without sacrificing the optical clarity the resin needs to pass downstream inspection.
Marketed under the Plast Clear, Plast Clear (Film), and Plast Cristal product lines, it sits at the intersection of two disciplines: mineral science and polymer processing.
Why Bajaj Fillers?
Polymer economics move with crude oil. Mineral economics don't have to.
Resin is a petroleum derivative.
Almost all commodity plastics are made from petroleum feedstock, so the price of virgin resin inexorably climbs whenever the supply of oil and gas tightens — a variable no processor controls.
Bajaj Fillers move at a slower pace.
Our fillers are available at any point in the year and their price climbs far more slowly than resin, which means filled formulations become more commercially attractive year after year.
The same resin is available to everyone.
What separates competitors is formulation. Using Bajaj fillers, a processor can craft a recipe that outperforms the field even in a market crowded with suppliers working from the same base polymer.
Three decades of formulation discipline.
Bajaj has spent thirty years compounding for Indian and export processors — an ISO 9001:2015‑certified operation where every batch is built to a specification, not a guess.
Key features.
What defines the compound, chemically and mechanically.
Ultra‑fine inorganic powder
A precisely milled, transparent inorganic powder — barium sulphate for Plast Clear grades, sodium sulphate for Plast Cristal — selected for particle size and optical behaviour.
Virgin polyethylene carrier
The mineral load is dispersed in a virgin polyethylene carrier resin, engineered for clean let‑down into the host polymer during processing.
Performance additive package
A tailored additive system is dosed alongside the mineral and carrier to protect processability, dispersion, and finish across production runs.
Nucleating action
Fine particle dispersion acts as a nucleating agent during cooling, giving converters more consistent crystallisation and part‑to‑part repeatability.
Application‑tuned ratios
Proportions are customised to the end application — injection, blow moulding, woven sack, or film — rather than sold as one fixed universal ratio.
Consistent, certified output
Produced under an ISO 9001:2015‑certified quality system, so optical and mechanical performance stay within a tight batch‑to‑batch tolerance.

Making of Bajaj Plast
Talc Base Filler.
From raw mineral to a pellet that drops straight into a processor's existing line.
Mineral selection & micronising
Inorganic transparent powder — BaSO₄ or Na SO₄ depending on grade — is sourced and milled down to an ultra‑fine, tightly controlled particle size, the single biggest driver of final optical clarity.
Carrier resin blending
The micronised powder is metered into virgin polyethylene, chosen as the carrier for its clean melt behaviour and compatibility with downstream PP, PE, and HDPE host resins.
Additive dosing
A performance additive package — dispersants, process aids, and stabilisers — is introduced at right proportions, customised against the intended end application.
Compounding & extrusion
The blend is compounded under controlled shear and temperature so the mineral disperses evenly through the carrier, avoiding the agglomerates that cause haze or gels.
Pelletising & QC
The compound is pelletised and passed through quality checks under Bajaj's ISO 9001:2015 system before being cleared for despatch.
Ready for let‑down
The finished masterbatch ships ready to dose directly into a processor's existing injection, blow moulding, extrusion, or film line — no additional equipment required.

Talc Base Filler / Transparent Masterbatch — the product line.
Three formulations, one shared purpose: transparency without the transparent‑resin price tag.

Plast Clear
A talc base transparent filler masterbatch — a perfect blend of ultra‑fine particle size inorganic transparent powder (BaSO₄) with virgin polyethylene and performance additives, proportioned to the end application.

Plast Clear (Film)
The film‑optimised variant of Plast Clear — the same BaSO₄ / virgin polyethylene blend, re‑balanced for blown and cast film lines where thickness and optical consistency are critical.

Plast Crystal
A sodium‑base transparent filler masterbatch — ultra‑fine inorganic Na₂SO₄ powder blended with virgin polyethylene and additives, tuned to the mechanical profile the end application requires.
Engineered clarity.
Engineered economics.
