VCI Masterbatch
Core functional masterbatch incorporating volatile corrosion inhibitor compounds like benzotriazole,cyclohexylamine,dicyclohexylamine, and morpholine derivatives in PE carrier resin. VCI compounds slowly volatilise from film surface forming protective molecular layer on metal surfaces preventing oxidation, rust, and corrosion during storage and transit.
Filler Masterbatch
Reduces raw material cost in standard VCI film production by partially replacing virgin PE resin without significantly affecting film mechanical performance. CaCO₃ filler must be verified for chemical compatibility with VCI active compounds — alkaline CaCO₃ can react with acidic VCI components affecting inhibitor chemistry and protection effectiveness.
Color Masterbatch
Provides standard identification colours like Blue, Green, Yellow, and Pink to VCI films for metal type identification and corrosion inhibitor grade coding. Colour coding helps users identify correct VCI film grade for specific metals — Ferrous, Non-ferrous, Multi-metal, and Stainless Steel protection applications.
Processing Aid Masterbatch
Eliminates melt fracture and die build-up during high-speed blown film extrusion of VCI film containing heat-sensitive VCI active compounds. Processing aid enables higher production line speeds and lower extrusion temperatures critical for preventing thermal decomposition of temperature-sensitive VCI amine and heterocyclic corrosion inhibitor compounds.
Anti-Block Masterbatch
Prevents film-to-film blocking between VCI film layers in rolls and bags during storage and dispensing on metal packaging lines. Ultra-fine amorphous silica anti-block must not react with VCI amine compounds or create surface contamination that interferes with VCI vapour release from film surface.
Slip Masterbatch
Reduces coefficient of friction of VCI film for smooth and high-speed performance on bag making, wrapping, and automated metal packaging machines. Slip agent selection is critical — must be chemically non-reactive with VCI compounds and must not form barrier coating on metal surfaces interfering with VCI protection mechanism.
