Each type of Filler masterbatch has some special properties to improve the end plastic product.
Plast Stiff.Engineered stiffness, by design.
An ultra-fine CaCO₃ and virgin polypropylene compound, formulated to raise stiffness, tenacity and heat resistance in PP-based products — without touching the polymer chemistry you already trust.
A precision-engineered CaCO₃ – PP compound
Plast Stiff is a PP base filler masterbatch built from an exacting blend of ultra-fine particle size calcium carbonate (CaCO₃), virgin polypropylene resin, and a performance additive package — proportioned individually for the end application it will run in.
Rather than functioning as an inert bulking agent, the fine CaCO₃ fraction is dispersed at a particle scale where it interacts synergistically with the PP matrix during processing — reinforcing the polymer network instead of merely diluting it.
The result is a masterbatch that lets converters dose in mineral reinforcement without re-engineering their base resin, their extrusion line, or their downstream process parameters.
Formulations that hold an edge, year after year
Virgin polymer resin is a petroleum derivative — its cost floats with oil and gas supply. Mineral-based fillers do not share that exposure, which is what makes a well-engineered filler masterbatch a structural cost and performance advantage rather than a compromise.
Price stability, independent of crude cycles
Because Bajaj Fillers are mineral-derived rather than petroleum-derived, they remain available and price-stable through the supply cycles that make virgin PP volatile — keeping formulated cost predictable across quarters.
A genuine performance lever, not a diluent
The same PP resins are available to every converter in the market. Plast Stiff is the variable that lets a formulation outperform a competitor running the identical base polymer — stiffness, strength and printability move together.
Consistent, contamination-free particle chemistry
CaCO₃ feedstock is sourced from globally recognised, high-purity origins with controlled melting point, hardness and brightness — the same inputs relied on by masterbatch producers worldwide.
Backed by three decades of process discipline
Bajaj has run masterbatch production out of Nagpur, Maharashtra for over 30 years, under an ISO 9001:2015 quality system certified by TÜV Nord — engineered for repeatability, batch after batch.
One filler family, three engineered personalities
Bajaj's PP base filler range is built around the end-application, not a single generic recipe. Plast Stiff is the grade purpose-built where stiffness, tenacity and dimensional stability decide the outcome.

Built into the compound, not added after
Every property below is a direct function of the particle chemistry and dispersion quality of the Plast Stiff formulation.
Consistent, repeatable results
Batch-to-batch uniformity in particle size distribution keeps process parameters stable run after run.
Excellent anti-fibrillation
Reduces uncontrolled splitting along tape and yarn lines during drawing and weaving.
Minimal powder formation
Tight particle dispersion limits fines generation on high-speed extrusion lines.
Improved dimensional stability
Lower post-processing shrinkage keeps final part and film geometry within tolerance.
Better heat resistance
High-melting-point CaCO₃ raises thermal tolerance through downstream processing steps.
Cost optimisation
Acts as a partial substitute for virgin PP resin, lowering formulated cost per kilogram.
Improved stiffness
Reinforced polymer matrix raises flexural modulus of the finished product.
Anti-slip property
Lower coefficient of friction improves stacking and handling behaviour of woven products.
Improved tape tenacity
Strengthens tensile hold-up in raffia tape used across woven sack manufacturing.
Improved cloth stability
Woven fabric holds dimensional integrity across storage, transport and load-bearing use.
Improved printability
Smoother, more uniform surface finish gives sharper ink lay and colour registration.
Low coefficient of friction
Free from water carrying and tape-cutting issues seen with poorly dispersed fillers.
Why the reinforcement matters downstream
Each engineering property of Plast Stiff translates into a measurable commercial or operational outcome for the converter running it.
Mechanical reinforcement
Synergy between high-purity CaCO₃ and virgin PP improves hardness, stiffness, tensile strength and elongation at break — properties that define how a finished product performs under real load.
Clarity & surface quality
Well-dispersed, ultra-fine particles preserve clarity and smoothness rather than clouding or roughening the surface — important wherever visual and tactile finish is part of the specification.
Regulatory and safety compliance
The compound is non-toxic, eco-friendly, and food-grade compliant, which keeps it usable across packaging categories that carry direct or indirect food-contact requirements.
Volumetric output and cost economy
As a partial substitute for virgin PP resin at 30–50% dosage, Plast Stiff raises volumetric output per kilogram of formulation while holding necessary quality parameters intact.
Process reliability
Moisture- and contamination-free feedstock with uniform particle size distribution reduces the variability that otherwise shows up as inconsistent tape cutting, water carrying, or fibrillation on the line.
From mineral feedstock to finished pellet
Plast Stiff is produced with state-of-the-art technology and sophisticated equipment, running in sync with dedicated R&D and Quality Assurance functions at every stage.
Feedstock selection
Ultra-fine particle size CaCO₃ is sourced for high melting point, hardness and brightness, and paired with virgin polypropylene resin and a performance additive package.
Compounding & dispersion
The mineral fraction is melt-compounded into the PP carrier under controlled shear, achieving uniform particle size distribution and excellent dispersion at a micro scale.
Quality assurance
In-house R&D and QA verify the batch is moisture- and contamination-free, with dispersion, bonding and coefficient of friction checked against process benchmarks.
Customisation & pelletising
Proportions are tuned to the target application before pelletising, so each grade of Plast Stiff arrives ready to dose directly into an existing extrusion or moulding line.
Where Plast Stiff runs in production
Being a PP-only grade, Plast Stiff is formulated specifically for polypropylene-based conversion routes across packaging, textile and rigid-part manufacturing.

Woven sack & raffia tape
