Temperature setting are crucial parameter for proper plastic processing ,hence one should check temperature controller, thermocouple and solid state relay(SSR)
- when you cold start the machine ,wait for 2hours.
Uneven film thickness
1. Improper die gap setting
2. Unstable extrusion temperature
3. Resin variation
1. Check and adjust die gap for uniform clearance
2. Stabilize extrusion temperature
3. Use resin with consistent melt flow index
1. High extrusion speed
2. Excessive moisture in resin
3. Poor dispersion of additives
1. Reduce extrusion speed
2. Pre-dry resin properly
3. Use well-dispersed masterbatch
Poor weld strength of tape
1. Low stretching ratio
2. Incorrect temperature profile
3. Inadequate resin strength
1. Optimize stretching ratio

High tape shrinkage
1. Improper orientation during stretching
2. High chill roll temperature
